After 26 years as a senior contract manager with FLS, holding several of the largest and complex culling contracts in their history, I made the decision last year that I would not tender for the upcoming contract. I felt that I had achieved all that was asked of me and that it was time to move on and specialise with the private sector, conservation bodies and communities. I have been approached more and more by owners, estate managers and land management companies and this the route the company is taking with the services I provide. We are all fully aware of the importance of carbon sequestration and woodland expansion and peatland restoration.
As of the end of June 2022 we are solely operating with owners, estate managers and land management companies. We have within a matter of months taken on several new clients one of which being Rothes Estate on behalf of Peter Graham & Associates where we are undertaking a substantial red and roe deer cull over a large expanse of forest and woodland. We have also taken on other estates however they have asked for total confidentiality which we fully respect, this if for both open hill and woodland culling operations.
We will look at large and small contracts and are always happy to discuss with potential clients in complete confidentiality. Each client and contract is individual and we sit with those concerned to provide the best options for them.
