We have now formed a working connection with Elm of Burford specialists in country clothing. They have kindly provided us with three of the latest Mehto Pro 2.0 jackets from the manufacturer Sasta, these are high quality outdoor stalking jackets, we are trialling them at present on behalf of the company and will share our views in the coming months.
Update
In the last couple of months we have found the jackets have stood up well to the Highland weather conditions and the stresses we put all of our work clothing through. Although I personally find the jackets can be rather warm at times, if only worn with a base layer underneath this problem does not exist. For the open hill I would prefer a lighter coloured jacket but obviously within the woodlands they blend in perfectly. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Mehto Pro 2.0 jackets.
